Job Goal:
Provide professional development and services, provide instructional coaching, develop products, and participate in special project activities in the areas of College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) to support the ESC’s core purpose and strategic goals.

- Three years of experience working in the college access landscape
- Three years of experience leading a team to achieve sustained and excellent results
- Five years of overall work experience – comprising of schools, LEA’s, nonprofit organizations, or private foundations
- Experience developing, presenting, and evaluating professional development
- Experience developing and implementing CCMR strategies and initiatives
Special Knowledge and Skills
- Broad-based knowledge of CCMR and CTE programs, rules, and best practices
- Deep knowledge and background of CCMR through work experience, research, and coursework
- Knowledge of the performance reporting related to CCMR
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated track record of improving student learning outcomes for CCMR

Major Responsibilities:
- Create an annual needs assessment tool and analyze current LEA data to identify regional CCMR strategies and annual outcomes for product and service delivery.
- Lead the development of a comprehensive CCMR program evaluation service that can be provided to LEAs to help design and improve CCMR outcomes.
- Introduce districts to resources and help leverage existing resources to improve CCMR outcomes.
- Help districts develop progress monitoring tools to be accountable to CCMR outcomes.
- Contribute to a regional learning network of LEA district-level CCMR contacts in a networked improvement community.
- Design professional development opportunities for Region 4 aligned with improving CCMR strategies, outcomes and accountability.
- Ability to set goals, develop and meet timelines and work with limited supervision.
- Participate in developing communication networks within Region 4 and between Region 4 and customer districts.
- Engage in professional development to maintain knowledge and skills in the area(s) of responsibility.
- Keep current on state and federal rules, regulations, and policies related to the area(s) of CTE and CCMR.
- Provide leadership and technical assistance in the developing, planning, implementing, and evaluation of CCMR services and programs.
- Assist in activities related to compliance with state and federal laws, the State Board of Education rules and regulations, and the Texas Education and Administrative Code.
- Assist with planning and implementation of ongoing needs assessment and services for Region 4 customer districts and charter schools.
- Develop, present, and facilitate effective professional development for various audiences.
- Provide training, technical assistance, coaching, and support to district and campus leaders to improve student outcomes.
- Participate in developing communication networks within Region 4 and between Region 4 and customer district personnel.
- Assist in planning and developing special project activities, e.g., grant proposals, interdepartmental services, demonstration sites, research studies, and other customers- based projects.
- Develop and maintain positive collaborative partnerships with various CCMR and CTE
- organizations that promote the products and services of the ESC.

- Develop in-roads across Region 4 districts and cultivate relationships with CCMR leaders and superintendent leadership
- Navigate the needs and pain points of each district and draw out themes that are pervasive throughout the Region
- Generate revenue through Region 4’s fee-for-service model and establish mutually beneficial partnerships withexternal vendors to improve the district’s CCMR results and meet metric outcomes
